Join the Idle Hour Food Drive!

To support neighbors in need, Josh Vest, who lives in Idle Hour, has started a food drive that will run through December.

You can drop off to the box on his front porch at 2045 Saint Teresa.

Josh is taking the food to the Senior Center in Idle Hour Park, which distributes directly to Idle Hour and surrounding neighborhoods.

The Senior Center lists peanut butter and jelly, cereal, oatmeal, canned soups and meats, pasta and pasta sauce, and snacks like granola bars and cheese & cracker packs as their most needed items, but any and all donations of food are welcome!

Josh also says that if you live in Idle Hour and are in need of food for yourself, you can reach out to him directly through Facebook or at 859-351-1763 to pick up a bag of donated groceries.
